About Andy Murray

Having qualified as a joiner in 1981 at Salford College, Andy worked on a self-employed basis on new houses and commercial projects for several years, including working for PJ Liveseys, an executive new homes builder. He also worked fitting PVCu windows for various large companies. He then moved on to work as a site agent for Lawler Construction.

In 1992 Andy set up a joinery manufacturing and shop-fitting business – DJM Joinery Ltd – carrying out contracts throughout the country for major companies including: Marks and Spencer; KFC; Footlocker; HSBC and Primark.

In 2001 he moved to Spain, giving up his active role within DJM Joinery Ltd. Whilst in Spain Andy built his own house, carrying out general domestic joinery and building work in between.

Andy returned to England to live in Sheffield in 2005 and established a joinery and building business, which specialises in domestic extensions and internal alterations.
